Summary of John Onofrey’s Video on Termite Treatment Costs
Hi folks, this is Certified Applicator and Certified Master Inspector John Onofrey with BUGCO Pest Control, “We Make the Bugs Go.” Okay, so somebody may have told you that you have subterranean termites. It may have been an inspector, it might have been your neighbor or it may have been somebody canvassing the neighborhood. And I can tell you, many years ago, before I got into pest control and I knew what was happening with termites, I had the same thing happen to me.
I actually found termites on my house. And I called several pest control companies to come out and give me proposals. And I was simply astounded at the misinformation and the pricing that I got from those companies. So you may have gotten some proposals from companies that range from the thousands of dollars to the multiples of thousands of dollars, which might include monitoring for termites.
How We Do Termite Treatment at BUGCO
I can tell you at BUGCO Pest Control, “We Make the Bugs Go.” We’re not interested in monitoring for termites. What we’re interested in is eliminating the existence of termites at your residence or your structure as quickly as possible, and doing that in a very cost effective way.
One of the most effective treatments that you can apply to get rid of termites is going to be the chemical barrier treatment where BUGCO Pest Control can install a chemical barrier around the entire perimeter of your structure to eliminate and kill termites.
The cost of your termite treatment mainly depends on the length of the chemical barrier. If you have a home with a large footprint, the length of the barrier is greater and the termite treatment cost increases. If your home is multi-story, it will have a smaller footprint for its size and your termite treatment cost will be less. Whatever the size of your home, you’ll find that the cost of our termite treatment is very reasonable.
BUGCO Uses the Best Termiticide on the Market
We use termiticides for termite treatment, not repellents. We use the best termiticide on the market today, and that is Termidor HE. Termidor HE has a pass-through effect on the termites. In other words, the termites don’t know that they are getting into this chemical. They are not repelled by it, they get into it and they get infected by it. The termites bring it back to the colony, and the entire colony dies. (Please click the link to see the Termidor brochure — Termidor Brochure).
Rest assured at BUGCO Pest Control, we have thousands of satisfied customers that we have completed termite treatments for, and if you hire us to take care of your termite problem, we’re going to properly identify the issues, we’re going to give you a proposal that is reasonable. And we’re going to come in here and effectively take care of that problem so that you can sleep soundly at night, knowing that your major investment is protected. Check our reviews and testimonials to see what other customers say about our pest control services.

A New Bait Station Technology Really Works!
We can also use the Trelona® ATBS® Advance® Termite Bait System to kill any termite colonies moving close to your home. Termite baiting stations are installed around your home, often in landscape beds adjacent to your home. The bait stations are placed approximately 10 to 20 feet apart. Once in place, the Trelona® Bait System works through the year to protect your home. BUGCO returns to your home once a year to inspect the stations and provide service.
